Fizby ("we", "us", "our") operates fizby.net, a birthday gifting platform. We are based in Australia and handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following information:

  • Organisers: name, email address, and Google profile photo (if you sign in with Google).
  • Contributors: name, email address, and contribution amount.
  • Payment information: card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment credentials on our servers.
  • Campaign content: child's name, party date, gift goal, photo, and any message you write.

3. How we use your information

  • To operate and manage Fizby campaigns.
  • To process payments and issue refunds where applicable.
  • To send transactional emails (contribution receipts, goal-reached notifications, campaign close notices).
  • To authenticate organisers and provide access to their dashboard.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Fizby:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Google — optional sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Data retention

We retain campaign and contribution data for up to 2 years after a campaign closes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption, secure cookie handling, and access controls. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

7. Your rights
